The Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) combines federal and state-specific questions to test the pharmacy jurisprudence knowledge of prospective pharmacists. It is the pharmacy law examination in participating jurisdictions. The MPJE costs $250 per exam and is available at any of the several Pearson VUE testing facilities located in each of the 50 states. Register online at www.napb.net/programs after you have created an e-Profile.

The MPJE consists of 120 questions (100 scored) and you will have 2.5 hours to complete it. There are no scheduled breaks. If you do take an approved break, the time will remain running while you are gone. The examination is assembled as you answer questions, when you respond to computer-selected MPJE questions, the adaptive technology will asses your answers and use that information to select your next question. The computer then selects a question suited to your estimated ability level from the test’s question pool. You will not be able to skip questions or go back and change an answer. The passing score for the MPJE is 75.
