The Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) is one of the examinations required as part of the FPGEC Certification Program. It is offered twice a year in April or October at any of the Pearson VUE testing facilities. You must complete the FPGEC evaluation process before you can take the FPGEE.

The FPGEE consists of 250 questions and is taken in two sections. Each section lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes with a 30 minute lunch break in between. You will not be allowed to leave the test building if you finish the first half early.

The exam is divided into the following content areas:
  • Basic Biomedical Sciences – 10% of the exam
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences – 33% of the exam
  • Social, Behavioral, Administrative Pharmacy Sciences – 22% of the exam
  • Clinical Sciences – 35% of the exam
