American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) credentialing is the most respected in the health and fitness industry.
Viewed as the best measure of competence of sports medicine and health and fitness professionals, it requires the
highest level of knowledge and skills and establishes the standard for all other certifications. Other programs have
used ACSM certification as a model, but none have achieved ACSM’s high standards.
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer: The examination consists of 150 multiple choice questions of which 120
are scored while 30 are pre-test items. The time allotted to complete the examination is 2.5 hours. The content areas
